Ralph Weas' position as Treasurer is the latest in his service to Hoverclub of America, Inc. that has included times as President, Vice-President, and Board member.

He first joined the Hoverclub while attending college in Terre Haute, Indiana, and fondly remembers the early Hoverally events held on the banks of the Wabash during the mid 1970's.

Ralph's interest in hovercraft began at a young age when he had the opportunity in Canada to ride on a 36-passenger British Hovercraft SRN-6. To him, the hovercraft has always represented a unique and futuristic means of transport that provides a great experience to all who come in contact with them.
