Michael J. Sacopulos
Director of Legal and Governmental Affairs

Michael Sacopulos is a partner in the Terre Haute, Indiana law firm, Sacopulos, Johnson, Carter and Sacopulos. Since 1998, he has also served as Advisor to Kevin Ferro, Head of Alternative Investment Strategies at Commerzbank. Formerly with the US Department of State in the Office of Legislative Affairs, Sacopulos also served in the US Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand. In addition, he was Adjunct Professor of Law at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.

Sacopulos is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, where he was named Harvard College Scholar for two consecutive years. He completed the Graduate Program in Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science, received a Certificate in European Legal Studies at Tulane Institute for European Legal Studies, and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree as a cum laude graduate of Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana.
