Dr. Jeff L. Pittman
Director of Technology

Dr. Pittman is Chancellor of Ivy Tech State College in Terre Haute, Indiana. Since 1987, he has held a variety of positions in both teaching and administration at the Bloomington, Columbus, Sellersburg and Terre Haute Ivy Tech campuses. These include Executive Dean, Business and Industry Training Coordinator, Director of Instruction, Department Chair, and full-time instructor within the technology division.

Since his arrival in Terre Haute, Dr. Pittman has been an active community and civic leader. He chairs the Chamber of Commerce's Competitive Advantage Committee, and holds memberships in Rotary, the Workforce Investment Board, and the Alliance for Growth and Progress. In addition, he has served as the Regional Director for the Indiana Science Olympiad, and as Educational Chair for the American Heart Association.

Dr. Pittman earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Indiana University. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Technology, as well as a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Foundations, from Indiana State University.
