David Piker

David Piker is Executive Director of External Affairs at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. His thirty years experience in journalism and higher education marketing has contributed to his department's numerous national awards for public relations projects and publications.

Piker has received the President's Outstanding Service Award for his contributions to Rose-Hulman, and has been named an Honorary Alumnus by the Rose-Hulman Alumni Association. He serves on the marketing committee of the Greater Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of Directors of the Terre Haute Rotary Club. He is past president of both the Rotary Club and the Wabash Valley Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Piker earned his master's degree in radio, television and film from Indiana State University.
