Dennis Meng
Event Director, Speed Record Challenge and Cruise

Dennis Meng is owner and President of Sycamore Chevrolet-Nissan-Hyundai in Terre Haute, Indiana. His strong belief in helping others, and in making the Wabash Valley a better place to live, is evident in his consistent aid to an impressive variety of local non-profit organizations. Sycamore's participation in the MDA Jail-a-Thon has raised more than $100,000 in the past two years, and Meng's generosity is widely known at the Wabash Valley 4-H Fair Livestock Auction.

Meng is an avid aviator, marine enthusiast and adventurer. His solo motorcycle trips have taken him to Nova Scotia and all fifty states, and this spring he plans to fly his single engine airplane to Alaska. In 1995, Meng had a boat built specifically to travel the Wabash River, from its inception to its confluence with the Ohio River, a 500-mile trip.

Prior to his success in the automotive industry, Meng served in the US Air Force.
