Jerry M. Hay
Assistant Event Director, Speed Record Challenge and Cruise

Jerry Hay is Director of the Indiana Waterways Association, and Riverlorian for the Delta Queen Steamboat Company of New Orleans, for whom he provides lectures and river guide services. Active in numerous river organizations and events throughout the United States, Hay is considered the expert guide to Indiana's Wabash River, the site of numerous 2002 World Hovercraft Week events. He has traveled the entire length of the Wabash River, as well as most major rivers in America.

Hay is author of several books, among them the Wabash River Guide Book, the White River Guide Book, and a children's book, Gilligan Goose. He is currently working on a new book, Beyond the Bridges: Rediscovering our Waterways.
