![]() Dr. Samuel F. Hulbert Dr. Samuel Hulbert is an educator, engineer, researcher and recognized authority in biomedical engineering. Since 1976, Hulbert has served as President of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, ranked by U.S. News and World Report as "The Nation's Best Master's Degree College in Engineering." Hulbert is recognized for establishing two innovative programs designed to build strong relationships between Rose Hulman and the business community: Rose Ventures, Inc., founded upon a $30 million grant from Eli Lilly and Company; and the Entrepreneur in Residence Program. In 1983, Chris Fitzgerald, President of Terre Haute-based Neoteric Hovercraft, Inc., was selected as Rose Hulman's first Entrepreneur in Residence.
